For people splitting time between both cities

Intercity Delivery

Some remote workers don't settle in one city, they split the first month or two between Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara, or relocate from one to the other mid-stay. For those cases we prepare an orientation kit that travels ahead of you, so the second city doesn't mean starting from zero.

What travels ahead of you

Inside an orientation kit

The kit itself is modest, a compact envelope rather than a box, but each item is chosen so the second city takes less adjusting to. It typically includes a printed pocket map marking the neighbourhood you'll be staying in, contact details for two or three coworking spaces we've already flagged for a trial day, a checklist for the town hall visit specific to that city's office, and, where relevant, a spare SIM prepared for the local carrier.

Pocket neighbourhood map

Marked by hand with the essentials near your new address: pharmacy, market, transit stop, and the coworking space we've already contacted on your behalf.

City-specific checklist

Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara handle address registration slightly differently in terms of counter hours and required copies, so the checklist is never identical between the two.

Spare local SIM (where needed)

If your existing plan doesn't carry over well between regions, we prepare a second SIM in advance so connectivity isn't a gap on the day you switch cities.

Community contact card

Names of one or two community organisers in the second city, so your first meetup introduction is already half-arranged before you arrive.

How the handoff works

Getting the kit to the right place

Coworking reception desk being used as a pickup point for a small courier parcel handoff

Rather than relying on postal delivery, which can take longer than the transition itself, we arrange for the kit to be left at a coworking partner's front desk in the destination city, ready for pickup the morning you arrive. If timing is tight, we hand it over in person during a short changeover meeting instead.

This isn't a courier business. It's a small logistical step inside the broader orientation service, built specifically for the handful of clients each month who genuinely move between the two cities rather than settling in just one.

Who typically uses this

Two common situations

Remote workers testing both cities

Some people spend two to three weeks in Cluj-Napoca and a similar stretch in Timișoara before deciding where to base themselves longer term. For them, the kit means the second city's orientation starts on arrival morning rather than after another round of research.

Small remote teams placing staff across both cities

Occasionally a small company sends two or three remote employees to different cities in the same relocation wave. We coordinate the kits and orientation timing so each person's first week looks broadly similar, regardless of which city they land in.
