1. Who operates this website

2. Personal data we collect

We collect data you provide directly, such as your name, email address and any details included in a message sent through the contact form. We also collect limited technical data automatically through cookies, described in section 5, such as browser type and pages visited, where you have consented to this.

We do not collect sensitive categories of data such as health information, and we ask that you avoid including such details in any message you send us.

3. Legal basis for processing

We process contact form submissions on the basis of your consent, given when you tick the privacy checkbox and submit the form, and in some cases on the basis of taking steps prior to a service arrangement at your request, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Cookie-related processing beyond strictly necessary cookies is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, obtained through the cookie preference modal.

4. Contact form data handling

The contact form on this site is configured to open your own email client, using a mailto link, rather than transmitting your data to a server we control. This means the message content is sent from your device directly to our inbox at [email protected] through your chosen email provider, which processes that transmission under its own privacy terms.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies, described in detail in our separate Cookie Policy. A cookie preference is stored under the name jwi_consent once you make a choice in the consent modal. You can update this choice at any time as described on the Cookie Policy page.

6. Data retention periods

Messages sent via the contact process are kept only for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, generally no longer than 24 months unless a longer period is required by law. Cookie preference records are retained for up to 180 days, after which the preference modal will be shown again.

7. Data recipients and processors

We do not sell personal data. Limited technical processors, such as the hosting provider for this website, may process data strictly to keep the site operating. Where analytics or functional cookies are enabled with your consent, the relevant provider processes data only for the purposes described in the Cookie Policy.

8. International transfers

Where any data processor used for hosting or optional analytics is located outside the European Economic Area, such transfers are carried out only where appropriate safeguards exist, such as Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, in line with Chapter V of the GDPR.
